What is good sam?
The Good Sam Club is a part of the National Good Sam Club that started in 1966. The Good Sam Club is the world's largest recreational vehicle (RV) owner's club with more than 2 million members in the United States and Canada. Washington has over 30,000 members. All Good Sam Club members are welcome and encouraged to join a chapter that is located near them.
What is a Chapter?
A chapter is a group of Good Sam Club Members that like to camp together and have fun together. Chapters receive a charter from the Good Sam Club organization. We have 35 chapters in many different areas in Washington. If you enjoy the fellowship of camping and the RV lifestyle you might want to join a chapter near you.
When does the daffodil rambler chapter meet
We meet the 3rd Wednesday of every month at 5:00 pm.
Where and What time does the chapter meet?
We meet at 5:00 p.m. at the Sizzler Restaurant 10204 S Tacoma Way, Lakewood, WA 98499.

I cannot make a meeting that early, can I still participate?
Yes you can. Not everyone can make meetings or outings all the time. You can always contact another member to catch up on what is happening. If you need to come late to a meeting that is OK too. We will be happy to see you.
you meet at a restaurant. is eating allowed?
Yes it is. It is not required, you can come and just enjoy our company.
who can join?
Anyone who enjoys the RV lifestyle and outings with other like minded people.
what are the requirements to join?
In order to join a chapter you must be a Good Sam Club Member (https://www.goodsam.com/club/ ) $29 a year and join the Washington State Good Sam Club Organization. You do not have to own a Motorhome to belong to Washington State Good Sam Club or to a Good Sam Chapter. Whatever you use for camping / RVing, anything from a tent, truck camper, to a pop up, to a fifth wheel, to a Class A, B, C are welcome.
What does it cost to join?
National Good Sam $29/yr, plus State dues of $10.00/yr, and club dues of $5/yr. Some of these fees may be waived when you join.
What are the basic stitches in knitting?
The 2 basic stitches used in knitting are the knit and the purl stitch.
How often are your outings?
At least one a month from March thru October. There are also 3 additional state campouts, and the Washington State gathering called FUNFEST
Where do you go?
We generally stay within a 150 mile radius of Tacoma for most of our outings. We try to vary the places we go throughout the year and are always looking for new and exciting places and adventures.
what days do your outings take place on?
Our outings are usually scheduled for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Many of our members will add extra days to our selected days and go earlier or stay later. On most of our outings you can arrive or leave on any day of the outing.
what do you do on your outings?
Play games, cards, group and individual activities, biking, fishing, yard sales, hiking, dining out or just plain ol' relaxing. We have some meals together, (usually pot luck, often with a theme). There are always interesting things to do in the area. Did I mention relaxing? Relaxing is always good!
what happens if a duck flies upside down?
It quacks up……(I quack myself up)
What is the average cost of a campsite?
The average cost for most camp grounds we go to is between $35 and $45 per night
Can I attend an outing before I join?
Sure. Just contact one of us for more information on an upcoming outing.
Why is roger such a jerk?
Actually Roger is a great guy, come meet him! He suggested this question when I asked for suggestions of FAQs and I took him up on it.
I am new to rving . can you assist me?
Our group has a wonderfully diverse bunch of members. We are all willing to help where we can. Among us we have a huge knowledge base on all aspects of RVing. There is always someone who is willing to help and advise. (Sometimes without you even asking.) :-)
